Art Exhibits

The New Providence Memorial Library seeks to provide access to educational, informational and cultural resources to the community. As part of that mission, the library encourages the artistic and cultural interests of the community by providing a showcase for art by local and area artists.

On the Walls of the Galleries:  

April - May: New Providence High School art students

June - July: Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library Quilt Show

August - mid-October:  Anne Klingenberg

late October - November:  3D & Non-Traditional Art

December - January 2020:  New Providence Painters

In the Display Case:

April - May: New Providence High School Art Students

June - July: Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library Fabric Design and Quilt Show

August:  New Providence Historical Society

September:  Origami

October - November:  Local Ceramicists

The Friends of the Library curate the exhibits. To inquire about exhibiting your art or craft work, please send an email to Art Curator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with a description of your work.

You will need a Friends application & waiver form as well as a library waiver form to display art.  Email or mail both forms to the New Providence Library, Attn: Art Displays, 377 Elkwood Avenue, New Providence, NJ 07974.
