Homebound Delivery

If you are experiencing health, mobility, or age related issues that make getting to the library too difficult, you may apply for Homebound Delivery using the Homebound Delivery Application.

Once your application has been submitted, a librarian will call you to find out more about your reading preferences.

To request a delivery, call (908) 665-0311 x4 or email the librarian at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You may request that books be selected for you, or request particular books by title or author.

Materials may be returned by handing them to your delivery volunteer when they deliver new items. There are no overdue fines, but there are replacement fees for lost or damaged library materials.

If you would like to volunteer to deliver library materials to the homebound, please email the library or fill out an Adult Volunteer Application at the reference desk.

Discover, Collaborate, Connect

Your Library is the place to be!

We love seeing so many people in our thriving New Providence community using the Library. Our numbers have never been higher! Whether you come to the library to sit and read, stay and work, attend programs, discuss great books, listen to author talks, meet with special interest groups, borrow materials, or shop in our bookstore, we love seeing you here!

It is clear that our library provides so many things for different groups of people. We appreciate every child, student, teen, adult, and senior who comes through our door and becomes part of our library family. We hope you'll join us!
