Sewing Machine Workshop
Saturday, October 22, 2022, 02:00pm - 04:00pm

Make your own pincushion while learning how to use a sewing machine in this workshop. Ellen Lumpkin Brown is the owner of Sew It! Workshop, an occasional instructor in Wearable Art at the Newark Museum of Art, and the author of “Doll Fashionistas.”  Sewing machines will be provided. Teens & adults welcome. This program was made possible by the Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library. Registration is required, as spots are limited. The Autumn leaves are falling...

the  marching band is practicing and we are celebrating the new season with library card sign up incentives, Sunday concerts, indoor story times, free online tutoring and lots of changes in the Children's Room.   

There's an exciting calendar of events planned with a mind to all interests and ages including a new Cookbook Club and indoor PJ story time.  Watch for us at the Street Fair on 10/30 and stay tuned for more announcements!
