End of Summer Reading Party!
Thursday, August 01, 2019, 02:00pm - 03:30pm

Join us on Thursday, August 1 for our end of summer reading party!  All are welcome to come and enjoy light refreshments and lawn games outside!  For kids we'll have bubbles and a station for washable tattoos.  We invite you to bring your own blankets and enjoy a book outside.

At 3 pm we will announce summer reading raffle prize winners. We will also be raffling off our summer reading aliens!  Come by the party and enter your name for the chance to bring home one of our blue or green alien friends!

Please note: In case of rain, the event will be held inside.

Thank you to our summer reading party sponsors, ACME Markets & Trader Joe's!

Holiday Building Closing

The Library remains open even if the building will close for a little while...

Because of rising rates of COVID-19 infection in the County and in the town of New Providence, we are being cautious and closing our building to public access from Monday, December 21 through at least Monday January 11 subject to a decrease in infection levels.

Staff is, of course, in the building and we will continue to offer foyer pickup, craft kits and window shopping.  We also have special book bundles prepared for fast  and contact-free gift giving which are available in the foyer.  Take advantage of our Choose 3 Books for Me service or use the Browse Our Shelves feature to request items.  Make sure to check out Ms. Sam's Story Time Room to make browsing for kids' books fun and high tech.

Check our full schedule of events, too.  We look forward to welcoming you back into the library in the New Year and we hope that the holidays bring peace, joy and health to you and all of your loved ones.
