Adult Programs

This year's Community Art Show features masks made by New Providence residents, along with ceramic masks made by artist Leslie Jacobsen of the Potters Guild of New Jersey. This exhibit explores the long history of masks and the many uses and meanings of the word “mask.”  Masks have been a part of our daily life since early 2020 and now we can consider the history of masks, take a fresh look at masks, and create new art! Curated by the Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library, the show runs through the end of July in the Conti room and in the reading area.
